Can be scary
This lift is a good idea for low ceilings and lighter duty...Theres a few things that I don't like...Seems like the older it gets the less likely its going to go up straight, which if you have something heavy on it amplifies the problem and if you're not careful can get dangerous..Other thing is not having automatic locks..Im telling you it straight up scares me if I have something heavy on it..What happens if a hose blows or a fitting fails while its going up?Now I see that the MX6 is available that has auto locks(kind of pisses me off).

The Worst Customer Service
We purchased a Dannmar MX-6 on 10/17/17. Bradley Melson handled our order. We received our lift on 10/31/17 and immediately noticed that the lift was in rough shape cosmetically. There were several scratches to the paint and the decals were all damaged. One of the hydraulic cylinders has scratches that can only have been caused before the item was even shipped. My neighbors thought I had purchased a second-hand lift!! I contacted customer service and Matthew Quinn immediately passed me off to Miguel Sanchez. Both failed to even apologize for the issue and Miguel simply asked for photos of proof of the damage. An email with the photos was sent to both Miguel and Bradley on 11/3/17. I have yet to hear from anyone at MaxJax/Dannmar. Worst customer service for a large ticket purchase. Read the reviews - This is a common occurrence with this company!!! Buyer beware!!

Great Lift For Limited Space
The MX6 is a great lift.Bradley was an excellent salesman. My order was delayed a month and Bradley made it worth my while. The lift was easy to install. Take lots of measurement and pull different cars in, to make sure the lifts are in the perfect spot. Some of the hydraulic fittings have teflon tape on them, take that tape off and rewrap them. Make sure fittings are tight. Another suggestion is, I back my cars onto the lift. Then you can open the garage door. I have a 3 car garage with 9' 6" ceiling. my cars are an Acura TL and a GMC Yukon, lifts both with no problem
