For the love of art
When my youngest daughter left for college, I enrolled in a silversmithing class at Fine Line. I was hooked and have been enrolling in one or more classes each term since. My daughter graduated last May, so I've been at it more than four years now, and I still love it. I also love the people I meet at Fine Line, the sense of community, and the chance to see the talents of other students who draw, paint, weave and dye fabric, throw pots, make paper, fuse glass, carve wood, shape iron and more. Fine Line is a treasure.

Positive feelings!
The Fine Line nurtures artists of all levels, in many mediums. Instructors are patient and positive, and ready to help all students achieve their goals. I have been a student at the Fine Line since 1988, and I love the creative feeling of each classroom, and the inner connections I make with other artists there. Even beginners can feel it. Come and visit the campus, and see for yourself.

Purchase yarn
I enjoy visiting Fine Line and looking at all the beautiful yarns. It is a pleasant experience every time I visit there. I am planning on taking a few courses there once Summer gets here. I would like to learn more about weaving and also how to spin.

Old Dogs and New Tricks
It was a bit difficult for me using an instrument like this the first time ever to switch from a paper/pencil system to an internet system. I can see the need for and efficiency found in using such a system, but teaching an old dog a new trick can sometimes take a bit of time beyond the first exposure to the trick. But, I'll get used to it!
