Poor Customer Service
First time ordering from this site. I ordered a battery on Nov. 10th as the website stated they had same day shipping - needed this battery for my camera to take photos of work for my website for cyber week. My order did not ship until Nov. 15th & this was AFTER I contacted them on 13th to see if they even received my order as I received NO communication not even an automated "We received your order" email & yes I checked my spam folder before trying to contact them. Got a message they would ship my order Tuesday as they claimed Monday was holiday (Nov. 13th?) & I would receive an email with tracking information. It did not ship until Wednesday. Package was then delayed/misplaced by USPS - totally not their fault but I received VERY little help from their customer service department. Emailed them as my package appeared to be lost in transit & told them I had already contacted USPS, had a case number & was asking what could be done in the event the package never showed up. All I got was regurgitated tracking information from the USPS tracking status (which if they had actually read my email they would know that I already knew the package was "in transit" for the last 8 days). Wasn't asking for tracking information was asking what they would do in the event my package never made it. I replied to this regurgitated tracking information email they sent me & NEVER received any response in return. VERY poor customer service. Battery finally did arrive with no help from battdepot but with surprisingly good customer service from the USPS. They actually called me back to give me a status update on the package.
