Bad customer service from the Parts division.
The person who gave the incorrect part #, they gave the ACER part # should have been ASUS. Total including shipping was $20.00. Jerry was the person who helped us. He was very unprofessional and rude. The first time he couldn't find my laptop contract with Geek Squad. Made a trip to Best Buy and was told the charger was covered by my agreement, again called and again talked with Jerry, this time he was able to find my laptop, was told the charger was not covered. Since a Best Buy employee had looked it up and said it was covered, I had very little confidence in Jerry. My husband then went to Best Buy and it was too late to call parts, so he said to come back tomorrow and he would get it straightened out. Best Buy called parts and he ended up talking with Jerry, is he the only employee a person can talk to? I asked him that also when I talked with him the second time. I don't know if Jerry gave the incorrect part # or if the someone looked it up incorrectly. We received the charger and it was incorrect. Asked to be able to send back, we would have to pay the shipping to send it back, plus order another charger for ASUS, we ended up throwing the incorrect one away it wasn't worth our time to take it to the post office to send back and order a new one, not knowing if we would have to go through this again. Very unsatisfied with the customer service received from Jerry, even the employee at Geek Squad said the was kind of weird, cause again Jerry was the person who answered the phone. We went to Best Buy and bought a new charger, needless to say, if we have to get any more parts we will go to Best Buy and pay the extra, worth to pay a little more than to deal with this kind of customer service from Jerry, since he seems to be the only person answering the phone.
